Please confirm this pull request meets the following requirements:

Which change are you proposing?

  • Suggesting edits to an existing topic or collection
  • Curating a new topic or collection
  • Something that does not neatly fit into the binary options above

Curating a new topic or collection

  • I've formatted my changes as a new folder directory, named for the topic or collection as it appears in the URL on GitHub (e.g. https://github.com/topics/[NAME] or https://github.com/collections/[NAME])
  • My folder contains a *.png image (if applicable) and index.md
  • All required fields in my index.md conform to the Style Guide and API docs: https://github.com/github/explore/tree/main/docs

The blazing-fast tag is already in heavy use. Sort https://github.com/topics/blazing-fast by stars and you get hundreds of repositories across Rust, Go, Zig, C, and C++, but the topic page itself has no description, so nothing tells people what the tag means or what these projects share. The contributing guidelines favor curating topics that are already widely used and would benefit from added context, which fits here.

On the content itself: index.md stays neutral and concise per the style guide, I added a related line (rust, go, performance, optimization), and left out wikipedia_url since there is no article for the term. The folder is index.md only, with no logo.

@JustSamuel would you mind removing the logo, unless there is a commonly accepted source that associates it with this topic you can link to using the url or wikipedia_url attributes? After either of those changes we'll be able to accept your curation.

Sure, I'll remove the image. There was no link other than I am a big fan of gophers/go/rust.

Done, removed the logo and dropped the logo field from index.md, so the folder is just index.md now @tomthorogood
